Short description

The facility of Medresa has been built for the needs of the Meshihat of the Islamic Community in Montenegro. It consists of a ground floor, first floor and an attic over a part of the building.
Location is Donji Milješ - Tuzi – Podgorica.
Contents - Medresa is designed as a modern and functional complex with all requisite facilities. According to the design, the complex disposes of a block with classrooms and teaching equipment as well as an accommodation block with dormitories, congress hall, sport hall, an open amphitheatre, restaurant, kitchen, and outdoor recreation courts. The facility consists of a basement + ground floor + first floor + attic. There are 23 general-type classrooms, 6 specialized classrooms for different courses, gymnastics hall, including administrative, technical and other pertaining premises. The underground and first floor are used for accommodation of four functional units: residential school for 64 students; classroom block with eight classrooms, library, reading room, amphitheater with 140 seats, sanitary premises and abdesthanes (washrooms); administration area (offices) and teacher’s lounge; gymnastics hall with dressing rooms and showers. Library and reading room with specialized classrooms are accommodated in the attic. There is a yard in the ground floor, surrounded with a covered canopy. The facility has two gardens – rest and girls garden situated in the floor above dressing rooms. Each of these open spaces is designed and decorated with greenery, rest benches and other functional outdoor furniture.
Equipment - The facility is equipped with new furniture, the latest video surveillance system, cable system for telephony and computer networking, control of access to special-purpose premises, fire protection system, uninterruptible power supply – generating sets and stabilized voltage supply for computer and electronic equipment, with an elevator and sanitary units and ramps for people with special needs. Gymnastic hall also has new furniture and requisite recreational equipment.
